Interesting Carrer- Related Topic

This post is for talk about a subject or topic of my interest in the carrer, this year I like a lot Phycopatology, with this subject I learn about the physical diseases, like depression, maniac disorder, schizophrenia, amnesia, and others. This is very intersting and the study is complementary with the visit of a pacient with some disability, because we can learn more about the illnes and the symtoms if we see a pacient, besades we can learn about the medicine and the possibles secondary effect . For that reason this subject is very important for the student of Occupational Therapist who want work in the physical area and for the others students in general.

This subject is given in the Physical Clinic of the University of Chile, in this place we have one lesson per week. I really like this subject because a long of the year i learn a lot of the physical diseases, for example i lost the afraid that i have for the people with schizophrenia, because i lear how they live and they treatment. Other important topic that i learn this year is about the Electroconvulsive Therapy, because my class goest to the hosiptal (in littles groups) and we can see this extrange Therapy, that is very usefull in the treatment of persons with severe depression.
